Why am I a rover sitter, you ask? This one time when I was at a house party, I was cuddling with the resident cat under a table. She was a bit uncertain of me at first, but then I managed to rub her belly so well that she fell asleep purring, and I got a sense of pride and accomplishment unrivaled by anything I've ever experienced at work. I then decided that my greatest ambition in life was to be a stay at home cat mom. This is probably as close to it as I'm going to get, so here I am. ----- My lap has been consistently ranked within the top 5 most comfortable napping locations by cats. 9 out of 10 cats agree that my lap is the best lap. ----- I've had my cats, Eevee and Toothless, for about 10 years. I also have a foster kitten named Blueberry Pancake, and a pregnant stray named Jasmine who ended up having her kittens in my cat room (they have all been adopted and are no longer with me 😢❤ ). I grew up with dogs (a toy fox terrier mix, a chihuahua/papillon mix, and an alaskan malamute), and I have done pet sitting my whole life, from looking after my neighbour's pets when I was younger to taking care of my friends' pets when they are away. I unfortunately do not have any dogs right now as my current living situation doesn't allow for a dog... that's why I am excited to dog sit for you so I can get my fill of cute doggos! I am most experienced with cats and dogs, but I have also taken care of rabbits, guinea pigs, and parakeets. I have experience giving cats medication and grooming them including insulin injections, oral meds, asthma medication using a chamber, brushing teeth, clipping claws, and bathing. I also have experience caring for pregnant/nursing queens and neonatal kittens, and socializing frightened and shy cats. My favourite thing in the world is to hang out with my cats at home on the couch, cuddling them and watching TV together, or reading with a cat on my lap. I love taking pictures of pets (literally 90% of the pictures in my phone are pet pics), so I am more than willing to give you photo and video updates of your pets every day! My pets are my whole world, and I will treat your pets with the exact kind of special attention and care that I would like mine to be shown. ----- My hobbies include: - making all kinds of weird meowing, chirping, and yowling noises to make my cats pay attention to me - crying over cute animal videos - having uncomfortable naps where I can barely breathe because my chonky cats are laying on my chest - browsing outrageously expensive online stores, putting a few of my favourite items into the shopping cart, then closing the browser without buying any of them - making plans to discover a new species of dinosaur so I can name it something like Heckin' Chonkasaurus or Northern Thicc Scaleyboi
