Pet care experience
I have grown up around animals my entire life. Dogs, cats, hamsters, goats, cows, you name it and I have probably taken care of it! I am a master's student at UW and am looking to care for some critters whenever needed! I worked for Big Dogs Huge Paws for four years fostering and transporting large breed dogs. I have also house-sit for all kinds of pets over the years. From 5 pounds to 100 pounds I love them all! Special needs? No problem! I have cared for all types of dogs. Anxious, blind, deaf, malnourished, scared, overweight, diabetic, one-eyed, three-legged. I love them all the same! I am a graduate student so a lot of my work happens outside of the classroom. I only have two classes that are in-person on Tuesdays and Thursdays so I am available for flexible walks and house sitting! A tired pet is a happy pet! I truly believe that pets thrive off of activity and stimulation. Whether that is walks, dog parks, stimulation toys, fetch, etc. I find what form of activity and how much activity works for each dog. That comes down to tennis balls or squeaky toys or trail walks or on-leash training or off-leash training. Each dog has unique needs for its unique personality!
Reviews
Hanna is amazing! We cannot say enough good things about her. She had an immediate rapport with our two picky pugs and they adored her. She sent regular updates & photos to let us know how everything was going. She took such great care of our dogs and our home, we feel so blessed to have found her.
Hannah was amazing and took great care of our home and Bruce
Hanna was amazing with our special needs pup Ghibli, and took so much special care to make sure he was comfortable and happy. We got so many updates and pictures, and had the peace of mind that he was in good hands while we were away.
Hanna took great care of our kitties while we were away. Attentive and responsive to our sometimes stressed out cat. Would definitely use in the future.

Information Hanna H. would like to know about your pet
For me, I want to know the do's and don'ts of your pet. It can be everything from where they like to nap to what size dogs do they get along with. I also love to know their favorite treat and their favorite toy! Basic training things like leash-training, name recall, and off-leash manners are super important to know as well. Lastly, I want to know any major health concerns or things to know in case of emergencies. Any allergies or food sensitivities. Any medications they might need and preferred vet in the case of any emergency.
A typical day
Each dog has different wants and needs for activities. I have had some dogs who prefer to chase soccer balls while at the dog park with their furry friends. I have also had dogs that just enjoy a leisurely walk with you in the local neighborhood or trail. One of my newfound favorites since moving to Seattle is Magnuson park. It has great trails, lots of people walking for the pups who love the attention, a fenced-in dog park with a separate beachfront fenced area, and overall great dog-friendly areas. When it comes to treat time I love to challenge the pups through kongs, food mats, or even just basic training commands.
