I have been a dog person since I was born and I think they like me too! I loved taking care of the family dog growing up and now own my adopted pitty named Laika. In past years, I have worked at an animal hospital and animal lodge. My job was to supervise the animals that were residing in our facility for up to months at a time. I bathed, trimmed nails, played with, fed, administered meds, cleaned kennels, and cuddled with dogs for over a year. I worked at Best Friends Animal Sanctuary as a dog caregiver for over 3 years helping provide care for all types of dogs until they find their forever home! I have experience with behaviorally challenged dogs (bite history, shy, stranger danger, anxious, don't like other dogs) as well as medically challenged dogs (administering shots, medications, medical baths, physical therapy, etc). Currently, I am a vet assistant at Wilsonville Vet Clinic and am trained in administering fluids, as well as trained in dog and cat CPR.
