I have grown up my whole life with large dogs, and I am very comfortable around all types. I have volunteered at the Dane County Humane Society for the past year as an Adoption Counselor, so I have undergone behavior training for many aspects of dog care. I am familiar with walking dogs on leases, with harnesses, using commands, as well as resource guarding, jumpy/mouthy/mounting behavior, shy/fearfulness, and escape artists. I only use positive reinforcement for training. Personally: I am a recent graduate from UW-Madison with my B.S. in Genetics, and I have just moved back to Minneapolis for my first full-time job. I love animals (obviously), photography, and summertime. I work mostly in front of a computer, so I am looking for reasons to balance out all of that sitting with some exercise.
