Pet care experience

I’ve taken care of dogs and cats my whole life and volunteering then working at my local animal shelter has given me more skills and confidence to work with animals of all temperament, size and age. I have worked with sick animals, how to care for both sick and healthy pets, young and old, and I have learned a good amount of dog training that I feel comfortable implementing if needed. I am currently working part time with an animal shelter Monday Tuesday and Wednesday and I work early in the mornings. Normally I am off by Noon. On those days I am able to do walks/check ins in the morning as long as they end at 7am. Although I cannot have animals stay over at my home- I’m more than happy to care for your furry family member at your home. Giving extra cuddles to dogs whose family’s are away is important to me, and I love when the family leaves me a note of what the dog likes to do. For example: “Tommy the pit mix loves to sun bath”- if I received that note, I would add that into our time together.

Hallie was great with our anxious dog, Hudson. Hudson is definitely a special gal and needs someone who is patient, calm and confident with anxious / fearful dogs. Hallie was so thoughtful and showed up with treats and Hudson went with her right away (which is pretty great for a dog with separation anxiety!). We would definitely book with Hallie again.

Hallie is truly fantastic with our dogs. Today she made them special treats in old marrow bones that kept them occupied for quite some time. She always checks on their space and makes sure they have what they need to be comfortable when we’re not home. She truly makes us feel so much better about leaving our dogs home and it means so much to us!

Hallie was timely and responsive - as always. Our dogs love their time with her and she’s always thinking of things to keep them occupied during their drop in visits!

Hallie is a god send…though she is picking up where someone else left off, it’s like she has always been a part of our little family. Between her detailed visit notes and considerate gestures (like notifying of time changes, etc), she is a true professional.

Information Hallie P. would like to know about your pet

I like to know about any and all special requirements my new furry friend will need - like Specific training regiments, special dietary or exercise needs, and I like to know what a normal day in the life of sed dog looks like.

A typical day

My favorite place to bring dogs for an easy walk is the Greenway next to Orems. It is not very busy, nicely paved and with a four and a half mile loop it is a nice options for most dogs. High energy and adventurous dogs I like to take hiking as it gets a little more energy out and if the dog plays well I’m a fan of tennis courts so we can play off leash.
