My family's first dog was a German Shepherd and then a Great Dane. Comfortable with dogs of all sizes. Currently have a Lab named Bailey- friendly, high energy, and LOVES other dog friends! I and my roomate have had years of experience watching and pet sitting neighbors, friends, and family's dogs. Bailey eats twice a day and gets two long bouts of exercise in the morning and evening. She has clear concise commands she has learned and follows. I do not work from home but have a part time job. If I am gone my roommate is home and doesn't mind looking after dogs either. If we are both gone Bailey stays in a crate- unless we are going to the dog park, of course! Bringing a crate for extended dog stays is helpful and appreciated.
