I’m a licensed veterinary technician (LVT) with years of professional pet care/handling experience, as well as being a lifelong pet owner myself. I have the privilege to see lovely pets every day at work, but it brings me joy to play with, walk, and care for dogs and cats when they’re not trying to put their “brave face” on at the vet. I am more than happy to accommodate pets with special needs; in addition to feeding, walking, entertaining, and loving on your pet I am also able to administer oral, injectable, and topical medications, perform bladder expressions, perform basic first aid if needed, and recognize the signs of a medical emergency. Note: I work for a veterinary ophthalmologist and am particularly skilled at and enthusiastic about enriching the lives of blind pets, so don’t hesitate to reach out if you have a blind dog or cat that requires a special approach that other sitters may not be as familiar or comfortable with.
