Experienced Sitter and Dog Walker!
Pet care experience
Hello pet parents! My name is Halley! Thank you for checking out my profile. I have been a Rover sitter and dog walker for about 8 years. I have years of experience owning dogs and caring for dogs at a doggie daycare/boarding facility. I am also an experienced cat foster! Working with clients and their precious pets brings me so much joy. Although I am not able to house dogs at my apartment, I offer dog walking services, house sitting and boarding in the clients home, as well as cat sitting. My experience working with pets expands to not just cats and dogs, but other pets as well (fish, reptiles, birds, mice, etc) during my employment as a pet care specialist at a well known pet store chain. Have multiple fur balls at home? No worries! I have experience managing 40+ dogs both inside and outside in various spaces. I managed many diets and feeding schedules as well as medications. If your pet has special medications or needs, I am very comfortable accommodating those as well.
Reviews
Extremely courteous and gave Tugger all of the love and attention he needed. We will be calling on you again, Halley, if you would ever want to watch our Tugger again!
Halley was fantastic with our dog and our home. We came home to a happy pup and found Halley to be very conscientious in meeting our requests. We hope Halley will come again!!
Very nice you lady. Halley took very good care of my dog and was thorough with her report and sending pictures.
Halley did an excellent job taking care of our 2 pugs. She double checked all of the details and sent us picture updates. We will definitely ask her to care for our pugs again! Thanks Halley!

Information Halley F. would like to know about your pet
I would love to know what types of toys and activities your dog(s) likes to play/do before coming to pet-sit. Also, learning how long/far you usually walk you dog(s) would be great to know so Im aware of how much physical exercise they can handle. I would also like to know how well your dog(s) get along with other dogs, and if they have been left alone while you are away before. If your dog hasn't been left alone before, it is very important to schedule a meet and greet so that him/her will feel more comfortable with me when I come to take care of them. It establishes trust that is crucial to coping with separation anxiety. If your dog suffers from any storm phobias, or other distressing situations that you are aware of, it would be nice to know so that I can offer the best possible comfort if such a situation were to present itself. If your dog tends to run off, and not stay in the yard, I would appreciate knowing so that there is no potential risk of him/her running off. (I have a decent-sized backyard, however, it is not fenced in). I do not have any breed preferences, nor am I allergic to cats or any other animals (that I'm aware of).
A typical day
Here's where we'll take our walks I like to stick with what your dog(s) are used to and comfortable with, so wherever you usually walk your dog is where I will take them; whether it be a favorite park, or route-just let me know! Depending on the size of your dog(s), and breed, if you only take them for walks a few days of the week, let me know so that I don't push them to be physically active outside of what they are used to (unless you would appreciate that they get more exercise which is completely fine too!) Your dog's sleeping arrangement Depending on if you are inquiring that I pet-sit your dog at your house, or mine, he/she will sleep wherever they usually do and feel comfortable (if allowed) in your home, or in my basement (there are pictures of it on my profile) or bedroom (wherever the dog feels more comfortable). If they have a favorite blanket, bed, or toy that they like to snuggle with, please bring it along so that they feel as at-home as possible! Time I'll spend with your dog However much time is needed to reassure your dog that everything is ok, and keeping him/her as comfortable as possible is my ultimate goal so I am willing to spend as much time as needed to gain their trust! Also, depending on how many dogs you have and what breeds, they each require a certain amount of physical activity each day, so that will also be taken into consideration.
