Hello, St. Louis! I’m back on Rover providing Drop-Ins and Walking services! I work a regular 9-5 job and would love to earn extra for my two kitties at home! I love animals and have since I was very young. I began pet sitting jobs for families at my church with my mom’s assistance when I was young, and began sitting on my own 5 years ago. A few years ago I began “Halle & Furiends” as a business page on Facebook to branch out. I retired for a little while due to moving and a new job but through Rover, I wish to expand my expertise and provide endless love for your animals. Here are my specialties: -Dogs (S-M for walks only, L unless your dog is leash trained!) -Cats -Small Animals + Reptiles -Birds Pricing and scheduling is flexible, as I want every pet owner to feel at ease apart from their furry friends and with the numbers.

A common request I make is to meet your pets with you present. This allows us both to be more comfortable and confident around each other. While you are away, I will not pressure your pet to do anything they do not feel comfortable doing.
Information Halle V. would like to know about your pet
Before sitting for dogs or any animal, a few questions I always ask are: - Are they friendly or more timid? (This helps me understand how to approach your dog) - Do they know basic commands? (Come, sit, lay down, etc.) - Do they have any fears? - Do they like to get into things? - Do they have any triggers? (Kids, cars, loud noises, hand motions, touching in a particular area) - Where do they sleep?
A typical day
During visits I like to greet pets in a friendly manner and ensure they are feeling happy and healthy! After a quick pet I will see to letting them out for a minimum of 15 minutes (unless otherwise specified) to ensure they get around and run. Afterwards we will go inside to prepare meals and check their water. Playtime and pets are squeezed in at any and all times! If needed, I will tidy up their areas/kennels.

Availability
M-F I work a regular 9-5 job and it is always consistent. If your Walk or Drop-in request is made before 12:00pm the day before, I will most likely be able to accept.
