I grew up on a farm in Washington state and spent my summers on my family’s horse ranch that always had 5+ dogs. Growing up we always had animals. (Cats, chickens, alpacas, a donkey, dogs, rabbits, goats, sheep, horses) I’ve been a huge animal person for as long as I can remember. While i was in high school, my family dog got really sick. I had to help my parents out with her making sure she got her meds and shots (she was blind and diabetic). Now with a family of my own, we have a beautiful American Pitt bull who is also a registered emotional support animal. We hope once we find our dream home, we will be able to rescue Atleast two more dogs. She’s amazing with kids (we have an toddler son she’s just head over heels in love with). My favorite thing to do is take dogs for walks and to the park to play. It brings me so much joy knowing how happy they are. I also would take your dog (if allowed by mom/dad) on hikes with me.
