Hello, and thank you for clicking on my page! My name is Haley, I’m 27 years old and a retail worker at a pharmacy. The main reason I became a sitter is that I love being around dogs!! I've loved them since I was a kid, though I never got to have one while I was growing up. Sadly I still can't own a dog where I live, but I've been dog sitting for a little over two years, so I’ve gotten to spend time with some wonderful puppies! :) I have experience taking care of animals of all kinds (cats, rodents, reptiles, birds, etc), and I can take care of any other pets you might have. I've owned many senior and special needs animals, and I will put in the extra work to make sure any animals I watch that fall into either category will be happy, healthy, and comfortable. In 2016, I took a certificate course at Tunxis for veterinary assisting, and I passed with an A (said certificate is pictured on my profile). I’ve since decided not to pursue that career, but the things I learned in that course has helped me be a better, more informed sitter. I have chronic back pain, so I can't look after very high energy dogs that will require me to run around a lot, or big dogs that pull very hard on their leash while walking. I don't have my own car, so my schedule is effected by that of my family. I also work about 30 hours a week, usually on the same days of the week, but not always. Due to my limited availability, I’m currently only taking repeat clients.
