I have always cared and looked after animals my entire life. I absolutely love their company, especially since I started working from home since COVID. I have experience with day sitting and over night boarding with dogs, cats, horses and even goats. Before moving to Central Oregon, I volunteered with the Oregon Humane Society for many years. One great thing about working from home with my current job is that I have an incredibly flexible schedule. This means I am also around to supervise and let out for bathroom breaks as needed. My home would be a great fit for an animal with more specific needs for this reason. A regular day looks like a walk before 9am, through out my day I have two 15 minute breaks as well as an hour lunch that can also be utilized for activities. There is a school with a large field area directly across the street , perfect for tossing the ball. Then by 5pm I am off and available to do longer pushes for more active pets. I am a very detail oriented and cleanly person. When it comes to caring for animals in my own home, they will get the same treatment as my Blue Heeler Tucker. In other words, they will be treated as one of the family. You can trust I will keep them active, safe and well loved in your absence. When it comes to day visits or entering a clients home, it will be handle with care and respect that I have for my own home. You can enjoy your time away knowing that you hired someone with a high level of care and awareness so take care of your animals and or home.
