Pet care experience
"People don't care how much you know, until they know how much you care."- Winning with People, John Maxwell I could spend all day talking about my experience growing up with dogs and cats, or about all the knowledge I gained about dog and cat breed's specific health and nutrition needs while working for a pet store for two and a half years. I could tell you about all the friends and family that I have pet sat for before and how pleased and appreciative they were of my help. But all of that comes second to knowing me, knowing my character, knowing my heart. "I'd give everything I own away if it meant I could keep my pet forever."- Unknown Author

My dogs love her! Haley’s terrific.
Haley is terrific! She takes care of 2 pups in our home. She’s very dependable, and trustworthy.
Haley took the time to learn the little things we do to take care of our 4 cats. She took pictures and updated us a couple times a day while we were away. She cares for animals and does her best to keep the people updated as well. From the looks of it she also cleaned up after them cause we found no signs of cats ejecting their food after over indulging themselves. Could not ask for more. Also brought in packages and mail. Would not only recommend her to others but will be hiring her again next time we need a sitter :). Thanks Haley
Haley was wonderful!! She took great care of our fur babies, went above and beyond, and is so friendly!! Definitely going to ask her to watch our animals again!

Caring for another pet parent's pets requires an understandable level of trust. If someone was caring for my pet in my home, there would have to be a VERY DEEP level of trust between myself, my pets, and those who I am considering entrusting my pet's life or lives with. A pet's comfort and safety is TOP priority! A pet's comfort to me looks like, keeping their routines that they may already have with their parent such as walks, eating, play time, potty breaks, and naps or a natural sleep schedule. Keeping the environment as close to typical is a great way to help prevent stress on them. Their routines could also include grooming! After all, who doesn't love the feeling of being pampered haha. Pet safety is of the utmost importance because a life or lives are in your hands. Safety to me begins at the meet and greet. Displaying appropriate body language and being able to read a pet's body language is very important. If pets are meeting new pets, situational awareness is a must! At the point everyone has established trust, and care is able to be provided, safety takes on a new meaning. It means following dietary guidelines from the pet parent. It means being situationally aware of the pet's surroundings both in their home and if they're out of the house walking, playing, etc.. At this point, my mindset is, "This is my fur baby and I will protect them at all costs!" and I treat them as such.
