Pet care experience
I've been a pet-sitter for family and friends since grade school. I have experience with dogs of all ages and sizes, and some with special needs. Growing up, I always had dogs at home, so I am used to and flexible around our pets' schedules! I also have experience checking in on cats from time-to-time and would be happy to look after yours. I know these guys are the center of a pet-parent's universe and I will take any opportunity to give them a little extra love when you're not around to do so! PLEASE NOTE: I have a cat!!! He is afraid of unfamiliar animals but consistently warms up to them over time. He is definitely fearful of large dogs so would do best with any pet under 40lbs.

This was our first time using Rover and Haley watched two of our energetic dogs in our home while we vacationed for a week. She was very responsive and communicated with us throughout the stay. We met in advance to meet her and the dogs. Overall, it was a great experience and we would highly recommend Haley and hope to use her again.

The apartment complex I current live in is located next to some of the university's recreational areas. There is so much open space, several sidewalks, and even a fenced-in, friendly dog park at this complex! You cannot go outside without seeing a resident and their dog here! PLEASE NOTE: I have a cat!!! He is afraid of unfamiliar animals but consistently warms up to them over time. He is definitely fearful of large dogs so would do best with any pet under 40lbs.

Will they get along with my cat? Do they tend to eat things they come across on their plane? What are they motivated by? Can they climb up/down three flights of stairs, or do they need to use the elevator? ALSO: pet owners need to follow CDC guidelines for the pandemic to request my services, as I will always follow them. I am fully vaccinated and am happy to wear a mask.
A typical day
We can walk around your neighborhood or mine, and run around at the dog park if your pet stays with me! they are welcome to be anywhere in my apartment that I would be, furniture included. I would love to play with and spend time with your pup! PLEASE NOTE: I have a cat!!! He is afraid of unfamiliar animals but consistently warms up to them over time. He is definitely fearful of large dogs so would do best with any pet under 40lbs.

I am currently a graduate student at the University of Iowa, so my schedule is loaded with course work and clinic. Currently, my schedule allows for me to check on your pet(s) within the following hours: Monday: After 2pm Tuesday: After 3pm Wednesday: After 6pm Thursday: After 5pm Friday: After 5pm Saturday/Sunday: generally all day.
