We have a big fenced back yard and I take my dog to the dog park or on hikes every weekend. I work Monday- Friday, 9-5, so I’m only able to watch potty trained dogs who are well behaved at home during the day. *update: as of March 2020, I work from home 80% of the week* My dog loves having another pup around to play with, we’d love to meet you! The Long Story: I am a social worker and dogs are my other passion in life. I have dog training experience and I have experience working with all different kinds of dogs. I raised my dog Mona from the time she was a puppy and have been dog sitting for many years, I'm open to watching small dogs to big dogs and almost every kind of dog in between; With a few exceptions when it comes to behaviors. I just ask that you try to be as transparent as possible about your dog's behavior before booking the stay! It will be less stressful for me and your dog if we both have all the facts. Please let me know if your dog has ever had a habit or "marking" inside, if they are prone to humping/ how they respond when redirected, if they've ever bitten anyone, and if they have exhibited any less than great behaviors on previous dog boarding stays. Almost every weekend I take my dog on hikes, and/or to the off leash dog parks and beaches. If you're anything like me, your dogs are your children and you want the best sitter possible for them. If your dog does well at off leash dog parks, they'll do great with me and Mona! I strive to "be the Rover sitter I would want watching my baby!" You can expect to receive lots of adorable pictures of your pup from me while you're away! I go above and beyond to get cute pics of your pooch because I know the struggle of receiving blurry photos of your precious baby when you're far away and missing them. I also love to make dog bandanna's, so you MAY return to a pup with a homemade bandanna. ;) HOUSE SITTING: Limited availability. I am able to house sit for short stays/ preferably if I can take my dog Mona with me. I'm a trustworthy sitter who takes the responsibility of caring for someone’s home and pets very seriously. I always vacuum and tidy up the home before my clients return and I send daily updates and photos. Please don't hesitate to reach out if you think I might be a good fit to watch your dog.
