We just returned home from a 9 day trip to the west coast for my work, and I feel compelled to share our experience with Haley watching our lab Jax. We initially reached out to Haley because she had such strong reviews, and the meet and greet went well. It did bother me though that as soon as we left town, she asked if her boyfriend could come over to the house. We have cameras in the house for our nanny, so we would have known regardless, I appreciated her asking but still felt it was inappropriate. During our meet and greet we discussed and she even emphasized the importance of routine updates and letting our dog out every 4-5 hours...yet multiple times throughout the stay she did not provide any update until I physically called her to express my concern, and there were several occasions where she was gone well beyond the timeframe we agreed to, citing a separate job that twice caused her to neglect our dog. A job she didn’t even mention in the meet and greet. A job that led to her not being back at our house until 1 am, and 3 am (those are at least the two I know of). I was strapped to come up with a different solution for our dog’s care while away- and I really did try. I thought we had fixed some of the issues after our phone call, but they only continued, with excuses, and then, to top everything off, we come home after a red eye flight to dried pee in the dining room, broken glass from a candle in the living room, and a bath towel (which she said she left on the washer, the only towel there) drenched in pee and stained. I did see on our camera several times where she was affectionate with our dog, but the number of instances where the care of our dog has been called into question make this review important to consider. I did share this feedback with Haley along with pictures to back up our observations before posting this.

Haley is a wonderful dog sitter! Even with my pup, who is terrified of the world and very particular, she did an absolutley amazing job!
