Pet care experience
Hi! I’m Haley and I love dogs! I have a puppy named Willow at home in a Raleigh and I just lost my dog Ziggy to old age (16 and 1/2 years) so I have experience with older pups and little pups. I’m currently a first year vet student at LSU. I work as a clinic assistant with VIP Pet Care and I volunteer at animal shelters in Baton Rouge. I have experience with many different types of dogs and I’m comfortable giving oral medications. I’m an excellent dog sitter! Friends and family have relied on me for dog/house sitting whenever they go on vacation or long trips. I have done drop-ins and home boarding before in my own home, too. I’ve also helped friends with their new puppies. I like to go on runs so if a dog is able to I would love to take them with me! This job can help me with funds for vet school!

I live in an apartment complex so in terms of boarding it would need to be a low energy dog but when I house sit all energy levels are welcome! I give all pets lots of love and attention when I’m with them and can also take care of things around the house if needed!

There so some dates when I will have less time on my hands than others so I want to make sure I can best care for your animals before I say I can watch them!
A typical day
I love to go on long walks/ runs so if they are able to, that would definitely be an activity I’d love to do with your pet! Specifically I love walking the LSU lakes!

I will be a full time vet student but will be available morning and nights for drop ins and have an hour break in the middle of the day! I will also have free weekends!
