Correction: I sadly had to put Piglet down, but can’t bring myself to erase her profile so there is only one dog in the house, Mavis. She is a 2 year old pitbull who is friendly and very eager to play! her favorite form of play is WWE and MMA style wrestling. she can be a vocal pup, but is gentle and playful with other dogs. she is new to being a house hippo and is still learning all the rules. my neighborhood is very dog friendly! i live close to two dog parks, a short trip to rock creek park, and near lots of open space for long walks, far away from cars and the bustle of d.c. streets. I am currently working from home which means extra time for walkies. Mavis usually gets one long walk (30-45 mins) in the morning, another walk or two during the day (15-20 mins each), and a quick trip around the block before bed. For morning and afternoon walks, I prefer to walk the dogs separately to allow me to focus on their needs; for the last walk of the night, I typically walk them together.
