In a word, don’t. I hired Haley to house/pet sit for 2 nights over a weekend. The first night seemed to go smoothly, albeit she was afraid to get one of my dogs out of his crate. Odd for someone who works in a vet’s office, but she said my dog was growling and snapping at her. This is very out of character for him, but I’ll give her that one. Maybe he was picking up on her indifference, which I was about to learn about. The much bigger issue was the second night. I happen to have a Ring doorbell, which records all the goings-on at my front door. I wasn’t paying much attention to it the entire weekend, but when I did sit down to review it, it was evident that Haley was only at my house for a total of 60 minutes from Saturday morning through Sunday morning. That means that my dogs were in their crates for 23 hours of a 24-hour period. Also, the Ring doorbell showed that she walked the dogs only once the entire weekend. When I asked her about it, she offered the excuse that she must have fallen asleep at home, so nonchalant, showing not an ounce of concern over the welfare of my pets. If you care at all about the care of your pets, I would urge you do choose a sitter other than Haley.

Haley was accommodating, professional and caring. We felt comfortable leaving our cat in her competent hands. I'll recommend her.
