In addition to my lifelong history of providing love and care for animals, I have 5 years of experience working in a busy dog daycare setting and at least 10 years experience providing care for boarding animals in my home. I treat all of my guest pups as if they are my own. I'm dog and cat first aid certified by Dove Lewis. Safety and comfort are absolute top priorities when it comes to animals in my home. I'm very experienced in providing specialized diets, as well as administering medication. Our dog, Stevie, is blind so we're comfortable and experienced with special needs pets. I welcome them with open arms. I'll share lots of pictures with you! With a very small rescue Yorkie of our own, I understand the special needs of small dogs and can provide the care they need to feel safe and happy while their families are away.

They took such amazing care of our older dog, while being communicative and friendly. We could count on numerous pictures a day. We had a few of our travel plans go awry, and they were incredibly accommodating and flexible. Highly recommend!

I have a small fenced off patio that we use for sunbathing and fresh air on a nice day. It’s important to keep them as enriched as possible, more indoor activities on cold and rainy days as needed.

Information Haley & Kelly A. would like to know about your pet
We have a very small dog of my own (Stevie) and she is also blind, so we need to make sure she’s safe. Because of this, I’m unable to watch dog-aggressive dogs or larger dogs that might inadvertently trample Stevie. Stevie uses potty pads in my home so if your dog does too that will be a nice fit. Our other dog, Izzy, gets potty breaks outside quite often. About every 2-3 hours or so.
A typical day
I live in a new and very dog-friendly building in the Wallace Park neighborhood which is a wonderful area for dog walking. There are plenty of sidewalks and neighborhood parks and we will use them! I live in very close proximity to Wallace Park, Washington Park and Forest Park which we visit often. I'm also big on field trips in the car, weather and parent permitting. Sauvie Island, the downtown waterfront, and Thousand Acres are just a few of my favorites. I’m a very safe, defensive driver with an impeccable record. My dogs get buckled into their car seats for trips.

Availability
I'm currently working full time outside of the home. I am away during the day Tuesdays through Fridays and have a trusted dog walker come by mid day for potty breaks. My drop off/pick up availability is between 4pm and 8pm Tuesday through Friday (or later on Fridays) and anytime Saturday, Sunday and Monday.
