I have never gone very long between dogs. I've owned German Shepherds, an Australian Shepherd/ Lab mix, a Golden Retriever and several mixed breeds. Currently, I own a smaller dog - Cooper, my Cavalier King Charles Spaniel. He's very friendly and well socialized with people, dogs and other pets.. He loves long walks and so do I, I always clean up his mess and I always keep him on a leash, unless it's an off-leash park. You're in very good hands with me,.. I'm practically the Dog Whisperer. About this sitter: I've been a dog owner since the age of 13 and in over 45 years, I've rarely been a day without a dog. My ability to communicate with most dogs is natural and my love for every breed, large and small is immense. That's because they love people back unconditionally, and I work hard to earn the trust of the dogs as well as the pet parents who leave them in my care. I am also a professional musician and occasionally give house concerts to the dogs, and sometimes, even people. I go for several walks a day, and at least one very long one for exercise to be sure Cooper will relax at home. I'm also very flexible with special instructions.
