Since i could walk I’ve always helped my parents take care of our Brindle Pitbull. Eventually she passed and we ended up taking in 2 pure Bluenose Pitbulls that we’re sisters. When we got them it was my responsibility to feed, bathe, notify my parents when dog food is needed, picking up their poop, washing their cage 3-4 times a week and train them standard commands (Ex. Sit, stay, lay down, shake, drop it, get your toy). When I was about 14yrs old they passed away and we took a break from dogs for a year or so. One day my aunty got a call about a mother and her pups that were abandoned and i knew i had to go and get at least one of the puppies. After getting my now not so little puppy, I took her in and promised my parents i would take care of her. Just like my other dogs, i trained her, kept her fed, helped my parents schedule her doctor appointments, she was basically my baby and the first and only dog that was allowed to stay in the house. Every time i’d go to school my dad would put her in her kennel outside and i’d come home and sneaker her back in the house. I took her everywhere I could bring her. Unfortunately I decided to move here to California and couldn’t bring her with me. My whole life i’ve been around dogs, dogs genuinely make me the happiest. Teaching them new commands bring so much joy. Watching their tails wag when you’re getting ready to feed them is the most exciting thing.
