I do not have a fenced in yard, however I do have a lovely yard and I do go to Boyd Pond Park or Hitchcock woods everyday to get the dogs out and stretch their legs. If your dog loves water, he will fit right in. I choose paths that have water when it is hot outside for them to not overheat. I am either walking, running or mountain biking. We are typically there for 3 hours or more. It is great for the excitable dog! I am an advocate on non-rawhides which are complimentary given. Feeding is in the morning and evening with set increments, yet I can accommodate for special feeding requirements. Fetch and tug of war are the most popular games to play in our house! There will be plenty of cuddle times and scratching. If boarding at my home, your dog will be in an air conditined home that can easily partitioned off if needed with constant access to fresh clean water and frequent outside time. I am a believer in crate training during unsupervised times, however, depending on your dogs personality, it is not required at my home. One of my dogs is left to roam around the house while I am away while the other younger one is in a crate. If I am house sitting, your dog will enjoy all the activities and accommadations at your home. Experience I have a professional engineering career along with a career as a horse stable manager. I managed 20 horses at an successful Hunter Jumper Barn for 10 years prior to moving to Aiken. I am very detailed oriented with a sense of health and well-being for animals. I have two bachelor degrees. One of the degrees is Equestrian Studies with a pre-vet emphasis.
