Growing up, my family has always had several animals of all shapes and sizes. I spent most of my time playing with our dogs, cats, birds, and reptiles and learning to take care of them. I always dreamed of a career with animals when I grew up. So, now I am working towards becoming a Veterinarian Technician through Penn Foster College because our pets are family and they deserve the best care. Behind the medical lessons I am currently undergoing, I have at least five generations of experience with animal care and handling. My family has adopted and trained many dogs from Chows, Beagles, Boxers, to Labradors, Retrievers, Terriers, Pulis, German Shepherds, Great Danes, Schnauzers, and even Komondors. There is no better place for a beloved family member to be than under the care of someone who understands, and loves them no matter their size. Your canine family member will be provided optimal stimulation both mental and physical. They will have free reign of the house, meaning they can sleep, play, and lounge wherever they desire. Under supervision, they will be allowed outside to play, and use the bathroom outside and will even be walked on a leash to assure proper exercise. If your canine is yet to be house-trained, or is not completely obedient, that is perfectly okay! They will get house-trained while they stay! A dog's mind must be engaged at all times!
