I have been .pet sitting since I was a child, professionally for thirty-plus years. I love all animals, but cats and dogs, being domesticated, are closest to my heart. Along with pet sitting, I have done animal rescue work, animal rights work, as a volunteer. Animal rescue locally with The Stratford Cat Project, and care with Animals in Distress in Wilton, CT. I also had my own pet sitting business, "Pied Piper Pet Care" for many years. I have experience with special needs pets, senior pets and "quirky pets" I have pet sitting experience with everything from Pit Bulls, to a Black Widow Spider! Many other breeds of dog, many cats, along with birds, hamsters, rabbits, and tropical fish. I am patient, caring, reliable, and can offer holistic care, grooming, petting and play. My idea of a good time is being in the company of animals, as I love their sense of being in the moment, their trust once they get to know you, and their honesty in being true to their innate nature. In addition, I am available on fairly short notice, for long and short pet sitting assignments, in your home, which would of course include feeding, cleaning as needed, and walking (for dogs). If you are away, I will water plants, bring in mail and packages, and stay in your home if you prefer, to ensure pet/s safety. I have excellent references, which will provide you with peace of mind about the care of your furry family member/s!
