Hi! My name is Gwendolyn, and I wanna watch your dog! I have experience working at multiple veterinary hospitals as a kennel technician and at a pet shop as an animal care technician. My job duties as a kennel technician and as an animal care technician were to make sure the dogs were fed, bathed, walked, and played with to ensure they stayed happy and healthy. I also have 5 years of experience volunteering at a no-kill shelter where I had the great opportunity to find over 300 dogs a forever home! I would go in every morning and just spend time with each dog for hours giving them lots of love and attention. Because I spent so much time with each dog every day, people would come in and I was able to gather information about what kind of dog they were looking for and match them with the perfect pup! Through my many experiences I have learned how to train dogs, correct bad behaviors, and identify common illnesses as well as administer oral medication. I genuinely love being around dogs and I have had several of my own growing up. I’ve also had experience with other animals as well from the very small to the very tall! Some of these other animals include birds, cats, lizards, rodents, frogs, and other exotic pets.
