I’ve always felt I had a special connection with animals. I grew up always having dogs, big and small, and I enjoy both! I currently I have 2 cats because I didn’t want to have a dog while in my apartment, but I’m excited to get one. Until then I’d love to help others make their dogs lives as fun as possible. I’m currently going to school online to be a dog trainer at Animal Behavior College. I started in January and so far I really enjoy it. I’m hoping to use my certification to help resocialize aggressive shelter dogs so they can find loving homes of their own some day! So far, I’ve learned how to read dog body language, proper training tools, and many more tips and techniques for training dogs. So even if your dog isn’t the most well behaved, I don’t mind! I also work at Mounds Pet Food Warehouse. At my job I spent a lot of time working with owners and their pets to make their lives run as smoothly as possible. I’ve helped many people find and fit proper harnesses, discuss problems with their finicky pups, and learned so much about real dog and owner relationships that the school doesn’t cover! I’m really excited for this new experience to get better at working with dogs and their owners. While I don’t have the most availability, I will give my all during the time I do have to give!
