Pet care experience
My name is Guitou (pronounced Gee2). I have a lifelong history as a pet owner and have extensive experience in caring for dogs of all ages, sizes, and breeds, including those with special needs and seniors. As a full-time fishing guide from March to November, I currently have ample free-time to provide attentive care for your beloved pet. I have a fenced yard and a dog door at my home, where I live with my girlfriend and our extremely passive spaniel who’s not opposed to more hyper dogs wanting to play. I’m happy to welcome well-behaved dogs into my home. Or I can provide house or petsitting services in your home where I always prioritize trust and respect. I look forward to the opportunity to care for your furry friends.

Great sitter. Very responsive and easy to work with. Took great care of my two dogs in my home. Gave updates and was able to deal with my senior dachshund that has a pretty strict diet and eating times.
Our first time with Guitou went great. He arrived on time, even a bit early. We walked with Sage together for a few moments to discuss the neighborhood trails and parks. Then Guitou took charge and I went home. An hour later, Sage came home tuckered out and at ease, happy to have found a stick to carry. Thank you!
Guitou was great! We booked last minute for our holiday travel and it was our first time using Rover. I think our dog Cypress had a nice stay and we appreciated Guitou’s friendliness and communication.

Client’s Home: My girlfriend has extensive experience managing private homes in Big Sky. I have worked closely with her in the past and understanding the care and respect needed when in others' homes. I always make sure to leave things cleaner than I found them.

A typical day
In the winter, I typically visit an off-leash dog park at least once a day to give my dog some exercise. When the weather is warmer, I enjoy going on longer hikes. However, for the older dogs or during very cold days, I opt for short walks around the neighborhood or let them stay indoors where there is a variety of toys.

I am a full-time fishing guide for most of the year but it’s the off-season so I have way too much time on my hands right now meaning your pet wouldn’t be alone more than an hour or so.
