Pet care experience
Started doing Rover in 2013 for about a year and then stopped when I moved to Blacksburg for college (Go Hokies!). We live in a house with a big yard, perfect for the dogs to play. I work from home so it’s easy for me to keep an eye on the pups throughout the day when your pup is staying over. I’ve had dogs all my life and have always agreed that positive reinforcement is the only way to deal with a dog (lots of treats available if you’re ok with it :)). We all sleep in my bed and furniture is not off limits either. Looking to find friends for Canela to hang out with and help fellow dog owners that have other commitments to get to.

Guillermo was wonderful with our dog! Our pup is extremely energetic but he handled her with grace and loved on her the whole time. I am so grateful we were able find such a great home for our girl while we were away.
Mischa had a great time with Guillermo and her new best pet pal, Canela! We appreciated the extra care Mischa was given and all the pics. Mischa was much calmer when she came back home and must have learned a few tricks to tame her energy! We will be back!

I like to know if the dog can be off leash when in a hike. Wether the dog is aggressive with toys/food or in general. And the dog's routine so he feels at home (eating, walking, exercising). If your dog is currently working on a command I could also help with the training. No special breed preferences.
A typical day
We frequent the doggy bar (lucky dog bar and brew) where dogs can be off leash and play. During the weekends we usually go to the WWC or a hike through cat tail trail or crowders mountain.

Availability
Since I work for home, schedule is pretty flexible. I can let them hang outside with me as much as needed or stay cool inside the house.
