Pet care experience
I am 19 and I want to work with animals in the future. I have grown up with 3 dogs in the house at all times. I love being around dogs, and taking care of my own. I would love to work at a rehab or rescue someday, and I think this is the type of experience that will be beneficial in the long run. I love meeting new people and new animals, so I think that combining the two will be a great job. All in all caring for animals is my passion and doing it for the next year or so that I am in Bend would make the time spent here better. And plus I’ll love you’re dog as much as I love mine!

I have never met someone who loves animals as much as Gretchen. She treats every animal like they are her own and are the most important thing to her! She is responsible, organized and very trustworthy. I think my dog is MY best friend, until Gretchen shows up... runs right past me to her every time!
I don't know anybody better for this position. I have known her to be surrounded by animals everywhere she goes. You can use her Facebook as a testimony to that--pic after pic of animal cuteness. She's like your modern day Snow White.

I don’t have any breed preferences, but I just want to be informed of the dogs likes and dislikes, such as how comfortable they are with physical contact and how they are with other dogs/new people.
A typical day
I have my own car, so if they are other pet friendly, taking then to the dog park is fun. Going on walks and runs is also a possibility.
