Pet care experience
I love giving the animals what they need. I have had several different pets through my life and I love each and every one of them (bunny, cats, birds,dogs). Taking care of pets with 1:1 care is important while you are away, that way they feel loved and have attention. Playing with them, walking them, petting them, anything they need I will be there for their needs and yours. Let me know what I can do for you and your pet and I can make it happen. I recenetly started an internship so I am available most of the times. I have taken care of several different breeds and over long or short periods of time. My dog growing up had epilepsy so I am familiar with taking care of special needs with medication and soothing them during the episodes. I have experience with other animals as well so if you have cats or reptiles, rabbits, or birds, I am more than happy to help out with them as well.

This was out first time using a Rover sitter and Gretchen was just awesome! I was so nervous but quickly had full confidence that our sweet pups were loved on and well cared for and I really loved all the pictures! Hooked, for sure!! Thank you, Gretchen, we’ll be in touch again soon!!

Gretchen has grown up with animals all her life. From birth until she went away for College, she has had multiple different animals in her care. These include: dogs, cats, rabbits, button quails, and many others. She demonstrated as a child and young adult responsibility for caring for animals. She also demonstrated much love for animals. Her recent graduation from College demonstrates her dedication to following through on responsibilities and duties.

I am open to any dog breed (and any other animals as well). Let me know if they are friendly with others or not so I can be prepared when with them. If your dog has specia medication for whatever reason I am good with that as well. My dog growing up had epilepsy, and my cat had to get insulin shots daily so I am familiar with dealing with medication and shots.
A typical day
I can throw a tennis ball to play fetch, play tug o’ war, go on a walk near a dog park or just in your back yard. Any distance your dog needs. I can even run with them if you like that for them.
