I started Pet Sitting more than 5 years ago because I stay home with my kids who both homeschool and I thought it would be fun and flexible for us to care for other dogs. What started out as a part time "hobby" has become work that we truly love! OVERNIGHT BOARDING This is a 24 hour block of time where your dog will stay in my home. New customers: A "Meet and Greet" is required prior to boarding and the maximum stay is 3 nights for the first booking. I need to observe your dog's behavior in my home and know that all will go well for a one week or longer stay. So if you have a 2 or 3 week vacation coming up, you will need to do at least one overnight with me prior to booking for the vacation. I cannot take an extended stay for the first time your dog is staying with us. I've taken these long stays with new dogs in the past, but I've had some really difficult dogs so I'm more careful now. I also cannot take last minute emergency requests for the very first booking. We will allow dogs to sleep on our bed, but they MUST also be okay to sleep on a dog bed or in a crate in a separate room if needed. Meaning that, if your dog is disrupting our sleep, they will be moved to a separate room and they should be okay to do that. DROP IN CARE (30 min to 1 hour) "Drop in" means we make scheduled visits to your home while you are on vacation or just for the day while you are away from your home for an extended period of time. We are able to accommodate new customers in the Kate Sessions Neighborhood of Pacific Beach, or those within a half mile/short walking distance of our home. This service is for only available for Cats. Besides caring for your cat(s), we will bring in mail, newspapers and packages, clean up pet messes, water any plants inside your home and turn on/off lights. DISCOUNTS I am willing to negotiate discounts with those who have been repeat customers for 1 month or more.
