I love trail running with dogs!

Hi there! My name is Gretchen and I am originally from Alaska, where I grew up with dogs who loved the outdoors. My favorite thing to do was go on trail runs with my pup. I have had a dog my entire life (except for currently) and love hanging out with them. I just moved to Bend and as of right now I do not have my own pet so I thought it would be a perfect time to sign up for Rover. Currently, there are no other pets in my home so your pup would get all the attention! I am an elementary school teacher and a runner, so I run everyday (with your dog!) and I have a VERY flexible summer schedule. Once school starts, I will be mostly available for dog walks and runs. I am super excited to meet you and your dog!

I can't say enough about Gretchen. I was out of the country for two weeks and the frequent photos she sent of my dog on walks and at her home were greatly appreciated. I could tell that my dog had a good experience because she wasn't in any hurry to leave when I picked her up!
Gretchen was great with my Shasta. She took him out on the trails and sent pictures each day. She was flexible and easy to community with. Her energy was calm, positive and enthusiastic. She confidently gave him his medication. I felt assured that he was well cared for and loved. I highly recommend her and will use her again.
Greatchen was perfect! She was very welcoming and accommodating. I loved her flexible schedule and the attention she gave to my dog. She also sent pics of my dog! I highly recommend!
