Pet care experience
I've always been an animal lover and have always had pets around the house since I was a kid. I love taking care of them! I'm a military retiree, currently not working. I do small projects around the house, and have flexible hours most days. I can crate your animal, if needed, ensure they are fed, watered, bathed, etc. I will give them lots of love! I live on 2.5 acres, somewhat secluded. My yard is not fenced, but animals would NOT be out unleashed or unsupervised. Quiet neighborhood with safe streets to walk your dogs.

Gretchen stayed at our home for the weekend and she did a wonderful job taking care of our 15 year old dog. I was so nervous having a pet sitter but Gretchen was patient with him as he’s anxious and fearful sometimes and is not sure about strangers. She kept me updated, sent pictures and gave me piece of mind knowing he’s taken care of. We came home and he was happy and house was clean 🙂Thank you so much Gretchen.

Please let me know all about your pet so I have a better understanding of how to make them feel comfortable. I'm fine with any breed, size, etc of animal. I prefer to have your pet come visit prior to watching them, so you get a feel for your pet's environment.
A typical day
I will give your animals lots of attention, play with them, walk them and ensure they feel safe and well cared for. I have lots of toys for them to enjoy, and places they can rest. I will send you photos and interact with you as much as you would like so we can build a foundation of trust. Animals are a big part of families!
