I work from home as a long-term care insurance broker. I have owned Merle, my 100 pound Plott Hound for 8 years. He is now 9/1/2. Over the years, he has had MANY other dogs (large and small) stay with us for days at at time. Merle is very low key, welcoming of other animals and compliant. He and any other animals that live or stay with us have full run of the house, and have regular access to my fenced-in backyard. I generally bring Merle to the beach or dog park at least once a day, and would plan to have your dog join us for those outings. I also have 3 cats. I promise that your dog will be treated with at least as much love as you provide him or her with.
