Why do dogs run in circles?
Pet care experience
Because it’s hard to run in squares! I’ve lived in NY for over 15 years and have taken care of many city pups for family and friends during that time!
Reviews
This was our second booking with Greg. Everything went smoothly just like last time. Reliable updates and photos that put us at ease that our old dog was in good hands. Thanks Greg!
Gregory is amazing with Kai. I get nervous when going out of town without Kai but Gregory makes me feel comfortable and Kai loves his home away from home. I highly recommend Gregory for your pet care.
Another amazing job! Gregory goes above and beyond.
Greg is fantastic. Amazing updates, pictures from each visit, and great feedback on how our incredibly old dog was doing while we were away. Our dog is 20 years old and often refuses to eat even his favorite foods that contain his necessary medication. Greg has the magic touch and got him to eat his food and drugs!

If you’re requesting Boarding and/or Doggy Day Care - I live in a new (circa 2020) elevator building that is great for small and/or senior dogs who have trouble with stairs. The apartment is spacious and I live with my partner who also works from home, so there will always be someone to entertain your pup. If you’re requesting House Sitting - I pride myself in treating your space as if it were my own and do my best to leave it even better than I found it (blame the Boy Scouts for this mentality, I guess lol)

Information Gregory P. would like to know about your pet
The most important thing for me to know is how your dog behaves around other dogs and/or people - are they super friendly or should we avoid? Can they be off-leash in the dog park? Are there particular commands they respond to if something happens while on a walk? It could also be helpful to know how food motivated they are (or aren’t) and what treats they can have for good behavior ?
A typical day
I recently moved to Astoria/LIC from Park Slope, so I love exploring the neighborhood almost as much as your pup does! I’m pretty active and a typical 30-minute walk (with an equally active medium-sized dog) will be about 1 mile. I love to give a good post-walk belly rub too as they get home and are (??) ready for a nap.
