I feel that I have a gift when it comes to dogs. I’ve always been able to connect with them deeply and understand them well. Earning a dog’s trust is always worth the effort; I love their big, messy greetings and kind, affectionate warmth. In my experience, every interaction with a dog ups our mutual happiness quotient. For the first time in my life, I don’t have a dog of my own right now. Pet-sitting fills the gap in my life and gives me an opportunity to help owners at the same time. What’s not to love? I can think of nothing better than seeing that a dog is happy, comfortable, and safe while their owner is away. Regular communication will help you know how much fun we’re having, and gives you a chance to relax, too. I’ll send updates with stories, photos, and even videos if you’d like. You’ll get a clear sense of the positive atmosphere that I create, and the genuine, loving attention that your pet will receive. I work as an illustrator, and enjoy all kinds of creative pursuits. I love the beach, going out on the water, and hiking in the nearby mountains. Anytime I’m able to bring a dog along on my adventures, I’ll do so! I live close to a bike path, and my sunny one-bedroom is just a few blocks away from the beach and Palisades Park in Santa Monica. There’s also a balcony for fresh air and sunshine at home. I feel lucky to live here! The entire neighborhood is very dog-friendly, and I can be on a mountain trail in under 15 minutes. We’ll while away many hours meandering along the beachfront, or playing fetch in the park. People and dogs enjoy my company, and I hope you and your pet will be no exception!
