I would love to get one myself but I know too much how it feels when they pass away... and I would not have the same chance to welcome new dogs to help other owners! I dealt mostly with big dogs such as Rottweiler or Saint-Bernard or Pitbull mix for example. I have a big house with a yard divided in two parts (both parts have fences). I also have a part of the room completely separated from the rest of the house with the second entrance. In case of dogs not getting along, I can definitely accommodate them. I would take care of your dog in mornings and evenings. In the same time, my wife is home during the day and she would keep company to your dog during the day too.
