I love to hike. Your dog does too.

Pet care experience

Hello! I love dogs. You do too. That’s why I’m here. We both want the best for our families. I share a home with 2 mutts who are as wonderful as the human they call mom. Before these doggos, I cared for a senior black lab that I adopted on his 6th birthday. I spent about 15 years before that with the family dog. We’ve had cats and guinea pigs over the years too. I hike quite a bit, rain, sun or snow, so your pup will stay active. If he or she is more of a sitting around the house kind of dog, well we can read books and watch Netflix all day. I’m open to drop in visits, or over night stays. While I haven’t done rover before, I’ve been the go to sitter for friends with puppies and senior dogs, and middle aged dog too. I’m reliable and will promise you and your dog a great experience. I’m also willing to travel a bit extra for over night stays. Even if you feel like I’m out of your range, feel free to ask me! I can certainly be accommodating.

Our dogs (cats, goats, and hens too) all love Greg! He's taken care of our menagerie on numerous occasions, both for short trips & extended getaways. It's a huge peace of mind knowing that we can leave town, and all of our babies will be happy & well taken care of! Selfishly, I wish they missed me more, but if the trade-off is that they are too busy having fun, I'll take it! Thanks Greg!

Greg will love your dog(s) like you love your dog(s). He introduces himself to every dog he meets. I'm in the Army, and often go away for training. I can always rely on Greg to love my puppers like they were his own. When he watches them, he pays special attention to their individual needs. On more than one occasion he has bought them special treats, low-fat, one of my dogs has pancreatitis. The other is not the friendliest Mr. Dog, but Greg pays special attention to his needs too. He's patient and kind. He makes sure they are fed, have fresh water, lots of exercise and love, and most of all he never misses an opportunity for kisses and belly rubs. They say, your dog is a good judge of character; let your dog meet Greg once and even the dogs "who don't like men" will surprise you with how quickly they take to him.

Our dogs love Greg! He's watched our labs and goldens on many occasions. They're always sad to see him go home at the end of the day. Greg is a stand-up guy and trustworthy. Greg puts a lot of effort into making sure dogs are well exercised. They're always tired and happy after hanging out with him. Once, Greg threw a stick a mile and my dog managed to bring it back. I know, I know. It seems far fetched. The only bad thing I can say is that your dogs might end up wanting to live at his house instead of yours. No seriously, hire Greg.
