Pet care experience
I am a wildlife biologist studying northern fur seals on the Pribilof Islands. I have hands-on experience working with many fish, seal, sea lion, and sea turtle species, including sensitive, critically endangered, species. My experiences have ranged from basic husbandry, animal care, feeding and sanitation to intensive field-based ecological research. But like most people my training with animals all started with my family dogs growing up! Ranging from border collies to German shepherds, I'm used to small and big dogs, low and high energy with a variety of needs and personalities. I am generally available for midday and afternoon walks & drop-ins during lunch breaks and after work as well as evenings for house sitting. I like to run and hike and happy to have 4-legged companions join me if they're able.

Greg did a wonderful job caring for our dog and house for two weeks--was responsive and attentive, made sure our pup got lots of exercise, and struck just the right balance in terms of sending updates. Highly recommend.
Greg was great- and reliable. He stayed at my house and left it cleaner than I did?♀️. He sent me a few pictures while I was away and my fur baby was happy and calm when I got home.
Greg has been our dog sitter to our dogs-- German Shepherd/Husky and Retriever/Husky-- since both of them were a few months shy of 1 year old. Greg continues to watch them now in their adulthood and our dogs loves him. Greg is a reliable and trustworthy dog sitter who adheres to the owner's wants/needs of their dog. For instance, we have a day-to-day routine for our dogs and each dog requires different things such as attention, food, exercise, etc. Greg has been able to adapt to their schedule and needs and we continue to have no worries when Greg watches them. We can also tell Greg does a great job when our dogs go ballistic every time they see him. 15/10 would let Greg dog sit again!
