Genuinely love animals more than people
Pet care experience
I’ve been fortunate enough to grow up with both cats and dogs in the family. Picking up poop and walking dogs from around the age of 10, when we had two labradors. I’ve always had more love for animals than humans, and carry that passion still today. As a teenager I’d take care of adult friend’s homes while they were on holiday solely for their dogs, as they already knew me and I’d always be there to visit the dogs when they were home too. More recently I have experience of looking after friend’s homes in London as they have cats. I spent ten years in the military and longed for an excuse to be able to get a pet of my own, always heading home to roll on the floor with our family dog until his last days. As a total dog person, I then adopted a one-eyed cat named Stevie Wonder. from a sanctuary in Rome and he changed me and my world for the last 8 years! My best friend, who sadly left us recently : ( Not being ready for him to have left so soon, I’ve got a whole load of love to share with animals and when my circumstances permit, I will adopt again. Stevie needed various medications in his years with me, and I am happy to take care of any animals needing medication too.
Reviews
Greg looked after George and Fletcher for us for 8 days while we were away . He really loves animals and cared for them very well and settled them into his home . We would certainly recommend Greg foe pet sitting.
Greg was so lovely. So welcoming and accommodating. He gave Arthur such a lovely day of exploring. Would 100% recommend. Thank you so so much.
I first met Greg a week before I was to drop off my dog Ruby. I liked Greg and felt comfortable leaving Ruby with him. Ruby stayed 7 days with Greg. Fortunately, they both hit it off. Ruby was well cared for and had plenty of exercise. She lost 1 kg! Ruby had a great break. I would highly recommend Greg as a dog minder to anyone. Wouldn't think twice about using Greg's dog minding services again and I know Ruby wouldn't either. Her home away from home. Thank you Greg for taking great care of Ruby. 11 out of 10.
Reg really enjoyed his stay with Greg, in fact we think he is pining a little. Greg offered to meet Reg prior to his stay so we went for a walk so he could get to know him better. Greg ensured that Reg was safe and well looked after during his stay. We had frequent photos and updates from Greg and were pleased to see Reg enjoyed his first puppachino! We can thoroughly recommend Greg and would definitely book him again.

The house is secured on a property with a fenced garden, big enough to play fetch and run around in. Although part of the house is being renovated, this section is boarded up and has a separate door to enter the site, so wouldn’t be an issue or any danger to an animal. My time for work is flexible, and I therefore would have a lot of time and attention to give to any pet who stayed or that I spend time with. I ensure to treat pets the best I can, always ensuring their water is clean and filtered, and that their food bowls are cleaned before each meal, that they’re brushed daily (if they like it), and have time to be stimulated by playing or walking them.

The canal nearby is a perfect place I and dogs enjoy walking. If they’re not comfortable with other dogs, then the garden is big enough to play in and there is a local park too.

I work fully remote with the odd travel to London for work and social. Living with a house mate who previously adopted a cat before, and grew up with a house pig, and a dog, any furry friend would be made to feel very welcome with us. I like to be active and tend to walk or run along the canal daily, and would love to have more of a reason to get out walking. I also have numerous cat beds, toys, and the litter tray, should any cats need to stay.
