Pet care experience
Hey all! Before adopting my first (of two) beautiful mutts, I dog sat and walked my friend's dogs to make extra cash during law school. My love for my friend's dogs prompted them to urge me to get one of my own lol. I adopted Toby (50lb, 3.5yr old Australian Shepherd/Grayhound mix) when he was 2.5 months old and raised him on my own to be a sweet, gentle and well trained boy. I adopted Luna (62lb, 1yr old Catahoula/Lab mix) with my partner Anthony when she was 6 months old and although a handful, she is honestly one of the most loving and loyal dogs I've ever met. I have experience with small dogs, large dogs, shy dogs, overactive dogs; you name it, I've loved it lol. In short, I love dogs! :)

Grecia is amazing! She came to meet Rocket before the stay, and was super punctual when coming over to sit for him. She took him on a super long walk (which he loves), and sent updates and photos throughout the evening. Would absolutely recommend her to anyone.
I've known Grecia for a long time and she is without a doubt the most caring individual I know. She's always put the well-being of her dogs above anything else happening in her life. This applies to all animals, not just her own. I myself was somewhat of a stray, needing a place to stay for the summer in California; Grecia opened up her doors to me and supported me during a difficult time. I have no doubt that the amount of care she would give to other people's pets, and the amount of understanding she would offer to even the pickiest pet owners.
As a dog mom on her own, I can assure any other pet parent that Grecia will care for your dog like one of her own. She cares about the well being and happiness of animals and gives them the love and attention they acquire. You won't be sorry for entrusting your beloved furry friend to Grecia.
Grecia is a very responsible and caring person who is passionate about dogs. She has two, Luna and Toby, and they are the light of her life. Her primary focus is making sure they are fully taken cared of, loved and happy! She would make an excellent dog walker, as she does it twice a day currently with her own pets. She would make sure whomever dogs she is walking have the ideal experience!

I don't have any breed preferences, but only ask that the parent let me know whether there are things I should look out for (hurt in a certain part of his/her body, scared of certain places or things, etc.). I want the pup to have the best experience he/she can, so any information that would facilitate that would be awesome!
A typical day
I will not be bringing my pups on the walks, so where we go on walks depends on the comfort level of the parent. As a Rover user myself, I've always appreciated when walkers have asked me whether it was okay to take my dog to the dog park. I tend to prefer Lake Merritt for longer walks because it gives the pup lots to smell and brief interactions with dogs. For shorter walks, I'll stick around the neighborhood.
