Our dog Otis had a great time at Grant's. Grant was great at sending photos, videos and daily updates. Otis needs a lot of exercise. Grant kept him active and we really appreciate the effort he took to make sure Otis was exercised. We will definitely take him back soon.

Thanks very much Adair. Otis is always welcome here...

Experience the Placer PackLife!

There is an old story of parents telling their children that they had to send their dog to a place in the country to live out the rest of their lives (when they had to be put to sleep). It was a happy place, where they get to run across fields, play with other dogs, and live happily ever after. Now, this is not "Dog heaven", but it's pretty close.
Please read, just a few ...

What Grant would like to know about your dog

Please let me know:
1) Any "bad" habits -food aggression/fear/ect.
2) How is the obedience? I might be able to help
3) Feeding schedule
4) Were does he/she sleep at home... be honest!
Crate/Dog bed/Couch/Under the covers with it's head on your pillow????
I will try to make your dog comfortable, but a great dog behaviorist
once said, "there must be rules, boundaries & limitations".

I do allow animals on furniture, but only when I say so. They are not allowed up - uninvited.

And something else to consider.
While I can provide special care for dogs, like medications, food supplements, ect.
If your dog is in need of convalescing, from injury, or illness, with restricted movement, this may not be the best place for him/her, until fully recovered.
Taking the "healthy" pack for a run, and making one stay behind, to rest, is not very practical.

When Grant watches your pet

There are numerous, extended walks or runs (after the golf cart or Gator) around the 5 acres of fenced property, throughout the day, as well as hours of dog-play, tennis ball chasing. All our Pack-mates are exercised, played with, til their hearts content, then it's home for a bath/rinse, if necessary, and rest, relaxation, and caring, loving attention til evening
We always go for a short, at least, walk after dinner...
Regardless of your dogs level of fitness, my goal is to return to you, a happy and tired dog.
Mom's & Dad's often tell me it takes a couple of days to "recover" from time in the PackLife.
NOTE: Your dog will be living a country, "ranch", PackLife.
Country hazards like, blackberry thorns, fox tails (grass seeds), pollen allergies, wire fencing, and various other "country dangers" are around. Of course, I will do everything I can to prevent any health issues for your dog, but you need to understand there are inherent risks to "the country life".
