Work from home Hound Dog Dad

Pet care experience

Animals have always been a part of my everyday life. I've been caring for dogs, cats, horses and even some livestock animals for many years, and feel strongly that the key to great animal care is to meet them on their level. By approaching a dog (or any animal) with confidence, poise and a deep sense of calmness, you set a foundation for building a relationship of trust and companionship with them. My wife and I currently have one happily rescued Red Tick Hound dog named Hank Williams, who has taught us a great deal in the art of caring for hunting/sporting dogs. Rest assured that if you're dog is a runner, sniffer or sprinter - I am more than familiar with the vigilance it takes to keep your dog safe, healthy and happy. We have a great fully fenced in backyard that's perfect for any size dog to run, fetch and play in. We'd love to get to know you and your best friend and begin building a relationship of confidence and trust with you both!

Graham is wonderful! He is just the salt of the earth! We had a great meet n greet with his boy Hank. Our dogs hit it off and played like old friends. Then when it came to drop off Roxy ahe was having that time and Graham said he'd take her anyways, so we didn't have to cancel our vacay! He took great care of her and sent me updated pics and videos. Looks like Roxy has a new go to!

Graham is a great choice if you need someone to watch your puppers! He handles my freakishly large 120lb(all muscle) black lab with ease. What’s even more impressive is that he manages to do it while contending with my 100lb Rottweiler at the same time. I don’t know how he does it but I’m pretty sure it’s a combination of his magnificent man-beard and good ol’ fashioned American patriotism. If competence and poise in the face of adversity is something you value then look no further than Graham Allingham. 100% recommend.

Graham has been very helpful to me as a dog sitter. I live alone and my dog is my best friend, so when I have to go out of town it is very important to me that the dog is well cared for. I want to know that the sitter actually pays attention to the dog's needs and makes decisions based on that. When a dog is in a new environment or cared for by a new person, it may not act in exactly the same way - the dog often needs some extra attention to function well. In the past, I used kennels for dog sitting and I always felt like the kennel kept on a strict schedule based on the kennel's needs instead of a schedule based on his needs. My dog Shadow was healthy and happy and well cared for by Graham! Graham knows dogs and senses their needs and cares for them based on their unique personalities. I don't want to leave Shadow with anyone else now - I plan my time away far in advance so that I'm sure Graham is available for Shadow!
