Hi, I'm Gracie! I’m a recent college graduate, and an avid animal lover. I have been doing overnight dog & cat sitting since I was 16. I understand how important it is for the pet owner(s) to have peace of mind knowing their fur babies get to stay at home rather than be boarded. I have cared for young puppies, from Corgis to Burmese Mountains dogs. As well as adult dogs of different breed, age, and size, including elderly & special needs dogs. I foster kittens so I have a lot of experience with kittens (even caring for about 10 kittens at once). I have experience with elderly and special needs cats as well. I am a HUGE cat lover! I have experience with preparing special diet foods for pets with megaesophagus, administering liquid and pill forms of oral medications to dogs and cats, inhalers, administering subcutaneous fluids, cleaning ears with solution, and giving eye medications.

Gracie was excellent! We have two cats and it was so nice to find a fellow cat lover who also had experience caring for cats with medical needs. Our one cat has asthma and requires an inhaler everyday to prevent asthma attacks. Gracie did such a great job and it gave us great peace of mind that our cats were taken such good care of. We definitely recommend Gracie and would have her watch our cats again!

I will not be providing care at my own home because I have cats of my own. When in a client's home, I am very respectful and mindful of keeping the place a safe and sanitary environment. I always intend to leave the home just how it was left. Typically, I like to go over pet personality/behavior and owner preferences so I can get to know you and your pet from the get-go. I ensure that the pet owners rules and animal's routines will be maintained and respected. I do not allow anyone over while I am pet sitting or dropping in unless given permission.

It is very important that you be honest about your pet's temperament, behavior, and boundaries. If your pet has behavioral issues, anger problems, has frequent accidents, or medical issues, PLEASE be transparent about it. I am not very tall, so I prefer medium dogs but can easily handle a well behaved large dog.
A typical day
Playing catch or tug of war with your pet's favorite toy is a given! I like to spend time outdoors and love to go on walks. I do not go to dog parks as other dogs may be unpredictable. I typically stick to walking around the neighborhood. Lots of photos and videos will be taken as updates for the owner!

Availability
I am only accepting drop-in’s at the moment. I have a part time job so I am very flexible and can usually work any day of the week. I have experience fostering very young kittens which is a 24/7 job, so I can work with most schedules, even if complicated.
