Pet care experience
I've had two family dogs over my lifetime and absolutely love meeting new dogs, playing with them, and forming that little bond. I know how much care dogs require and how incredibly important your pet is to your family! Dogs brighten everyone's day and they deserve happiness, adventure, and peace in return. I can't wait to have a dog of my own someday! I also know a ton about the behavioral ecology of dogs (and mammals in general) which can be helpful in mitigating conflict and providing an exceptional experience for your pet!

Gracie was fantastic! She house sat for 10 days with our cat and dog and was very communicative.
Gracie was so wonderful and took such great care of our home and our pup. She kept our pup very active with lots of fun hikes and took her along on some outings too. Our home was left better than before we left it and Gracie’s communication was great throughout our trip.
Gracie is a great caregiver! I lived with Gracie for a year during undergrad and she would care for my sweet doggy when I was in class or at work. I could always count on Gracie to take Storm (my pup) out for walks, feed her, and cuddle with her when I was away. She’s very caring and loving and dedicated!
Gracie is a responsible pet-sitter. She has taken care of our dog and my dog just loves when she comes over. Gracie is also excellent at taking care of houseplants, taking out the trash and recycling, and bringing in the mail. I will continue to employ Gracie because she has proven to be responsible, friendly, and caring.

I am trustworthy, caring, and determined to follow the owner's instructions diligently and create a loving and trusting bond with the pet. I am unable to provide in-home boarding but am delighted at the prospect of in-house petsitting! I have house sat a couple times in Salt Lake City and really enjoy the opportunity to live with pets for a couple days!
Information Gracie K. would like to know about your pet
I like to know their comfort level with other dogs, what things make them upset (such as a loud noise) and what things that calm them down (such as a toy). If house-sitting or conducting a home-visit, I like to know the best way to approach the dog if they exhibit territorial behaviors. I like to know about specific medications they may need, allergies they have, and if there are any pre-diagnosed medical conditions or physical ailments that I should tend to or be mindful of. And lastly, I like to know their favorite spots to be pet!
A typical day
I love to hike and I enjoy dog-friendly trails so I can pet some Good Boys and Good Girls. I love to take younger and more-energetic dogs to Millcreek Canyon, or head to the Jordan River Trail for less-energetic or older dogs. I am very patient and appreciate the curiosity of dogs whilst on walks and always let them sniff around. I am diligent and always clean-up after the dog.

I work part-time at a non-profit organization. I am around afternoons and evenings, and my work schedule is flexible so I often have mornings, weekends, or middays available.
