I am Gracie’s mom. We adopted a 9 week old kitty from a no-kill animal shelter when she was 3 years old. Gracie picked her and named her Cupcake! Cupcake always had a wild part of her, but Gracie and Cupcake were always great friends, sort of love/hate relationship. Cuppie passed away from renal failure at 17 years old. Gracie volunteered at the Slidell, LA animal shelter in high school, just to play with the kittens and cats. Fast forward to Gracie, living in DC. She volunteered at the DC ASPCA, just to be with the kitties. I adopted a rescue cat, 7 year old ginger tabby in April of 2019. When Gracie and “Jerry” met, they became instant siblings! She loves the kitties!
