Hi pet parents of Chicago! My name is Grace, and I am your pet's future fun (and responsible) uncle! I primarily serve pets who reside in the North Side of Chicago (Albany Park, Irving Park, Edgewater, Andersonville, Uptown, Lincoln Square, Avondale, Logan Square, etc.) but I am also flexible and can drive to further parts of the city as well if needed! I am an avid animal lover, and growing up, I helped my parents take care of our family cat and dog. I also helped take care of family member's dogs, and more recently have regularly cared for my friends' pets when needed. I decided to extend my services to pet parents in Chicago through Rover. I also recently adopted a goofy brown tabby named Petra! I love dogs and cats, appreciate their different personalities and temperaments, respect their boundaries, and am guaranteed to be able to provide the best care for your pet as well! The health and safety of every person and pet involved is of utmost importance. I am vaccinated (with booster) and am mindful of COVID safety, so I will respect any COVID safety guidelines that you have. I also am able to administer medications to your pet as long as I am given clear instructions beforehand. In my other job, I work at a nonprofit that provides free tech training to Chicago community members and help them get started in their IT careers. On weekdays, I'm generally available before 10am, during lunch hour from 12pm-1pm, as well as after 4pm for drop-ins/walks. For Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays, I have a night class that runs from 6:30pm-9:30pm, so before/after that is fine. I'm free most weekends as well! If you need services outside of these availabilities, please reach out as we could probably still work something out! The safety of your pet is always of utmost importance, so I will always make sure they are in a safe environment/situation. If you provide me with a description of your pet's routine or requirements, I will follow them to a T to minimize stress and to help build trust between me and your pet. I always appreciate the different personalities of each dog and cat, and I always try to meet them where they are and provide the best individualized care to each of them.
