Pet care experience
I'm a long-distance dog owner, my 14 year old Pittie girl lives with family in northern CA. As well as being a dog-owner and lover in my personal life, I also work for an animal rescue in Culver City, and I have a lot of experience with dog handling and reading dog behavior. I am comfortable walking big dogs with lots of energy or taking leisurely strolls with little pups, and everything in between. I have experience with administering medication and have current certifications in dog and cat CPR and First Aid (happy to provide documentation if requested!). I am eager to help you make walking your dog a more pleasant and stress-free experience for you and your pup, I'd love to help with leash training and other obedience training as needed! I have experience with both daily dog-walking and home stays/overnights while dog-owners are out of town. I would absolutely love to meet you and your pup(s) and see if you think I'd be a good fit for your family! I look forward to meeting you!

Grace is our favorite dog-sitter! She's amazing with our little one and we completely trust her to be in charge for days at a time. She's very reliable and puts us completely at ease when we're out of town. Our dog is a little particular with new people and she warmed right up to Grace. We've had her house/ dog sit half a dozen times now. It's always a bummer when she's not available!
Grace took great care of my pups. She let me know they were missing me and was also careful to not let them get overheated. They got plenty of attention and I even got updates and a super cute picture. Plus she lives right down the street so will probably book again in the future.
Grace is one of our awesome volunteers. She takes our dogs for long walks off site and helps run our playgroups. She can handle any animal thrown her way. She reliable, friendly and very responsible. You would be lucky to have Grace as your dog walker or dog sitter.
Hello!!! Just wanted to give a testimonial for Grace. She volunteers her time at Adopt and Shop and she is amazing! Grace comes in with a positive attitude and ready to work; she helps take out our dogs for big dog playgroups and interacts with different personalities with dogs, as well as human beings everyday. Grace even helps me clean their suites and kennels once the dogs are out playing. Grace would be a wonderful dog sitter because she has a calm personality, she is collective, she is a great listener, and would be very understanding of different dog personalities.

I'd like to know a bit about the dog's history with you and your family, your preferred activities and schedule for walking/feeding/etc. I'd like to know of any personality quirks or idiosyncrasies (we've all got them, let's be honest :)) so that I can make sure that I'm prepared to keep your dog safe and comfortable in any situation. I love all dog breeds, I'm a proud pit bull-type dog owner, I work at a rescue that takes in dogs from all breeds and walks of life, and I can't imagine deciding against meeting a dog simply based on breed.
A typical day
I would love to go on fun adventures with your pup, whatever that looks like for you. Depending on your pup's needs and comfort zone, we could go hiking, to a beach or park, for a nice stroll around the block, or whatever would benefit your pet the most! I'm happy to help with any training you're working on and make sure that I'm employing the same techniques you use with your dog while walking or playing! I'm always glad to provide lots and lots of loving pets and snuggles, brushing, bathing, and anything else your pup needs!
