I’m Grace! I grew up taking care of my family’s dogs Scooter and Bubba, cats Amelia and Galileo, and guinea pigs Ginger, Oreo, Calico, Paula, Mako, and Mad Max. I now have 3 guinea pigs (Pooh 5, Dorothy 1, and Deedee 1) and a cat (Pookie). Throughout college I volunteered with cats and dogs at an animal rescue, and now volunteer taking care of dogs in Chicago. I have experience with senior dogs and cats, puppies and kittens, and special needs animals. My expertise with reading guinea pig behavior and the long lives of my cavies (5-7 years) indicate my ability to care for exotics. I am young and active, so can keep up with energetic pets, but also enjoy sitting calmly with a tranquil pet. I am comfortable with very active animals, senior pets, large dogs, shy pets, and exotic animals. The most important thing animals have taught me is to listen to their wants and needs and to always respect their consent!
